Of the Things to Come

"These are a shadow of the things that were to come; the reality, however, is found in Christ."
{Colossians 2:17}

perhaps this week's theme, 'perspective', could have been 'shadows' in the end :)

“Remember today, for it is the beginning of always..." - Walter Winchel

Use this time of fresh beginnings.
Use it as an impetus, the force or energy toward change.
Become stronger, a better leader, more focused in your thoughts.
Exert more influence over your dreams
by bringing them closer to your thoughts, every day.
- Mary Anne Radmacher

To January, and the New Year:

"Give, and it will be given to you.

Good measure,
pressed down,
shaken together,
 running over,
will be put into your lap.

For with the measure you use
it will be measured back to you.”
{mat. 6:38}

It's January

When In Rome

For our Christmas party at work, we went to a small Italian restaurant in downtown London called Fellini Koolini's. The whole restaurant was decorated with ivy, fruit and wine bottles to make it look more authentic. It was really cute but the lighting was low and the lens I had on my camera wasn't suitable to the light conditions so I didn't take pictures of the inside. However, as part of the theme there was this small clothesline hanging outside over the small ally between Fellini's and another restaurant. Even though it is of underwear the quaintness of it caught my eye and I had to take a picture.
